Morristown Celebration of Black History Month

Our Youth Their Future and People Helping People came together in Morristown on Saturday for a Black History Month celebration that was all about  coming together.

We are about bringing the community together, said Toshiba Foster, who established Our Youth Their Future with a handful of Morristown moms last summer in response to a teen suicide.

The organization teamed with People Helping People a nonprofit that helps people with disabilities find jobs for an afternoon of inspirational speeches, music and food at the Manahan Village Residents Center.

Our focus is to strengthen our community's relationship between all races and religions, because unity is one of the keys to success.  We are especially thankful to People Helping People for partnering with us on this event in hopes to bring our community together.
